We’ve been experiencing a bit of The Vampire Diaries withdrawal the past few weeks during the show’s mid-season break, but lucky for us our fave dose of hot vampires returned last night! In honor of its return, we wanted to give a beauty shoutout to the show’s leading lady, Nina Dobrev, who sported a gorgeous side bun this week.

The beautiful young actress showed up to an event for The Vampire Diaries in California wearing this flawless bun, and we’re loving the look for several reasons.

First off, who doesn’t love a good bun? The hairstyle is super hot for spring and a fun alternative to a ponytail. We’re digging the construction of this bun too. See how it’s ever so slightly off to the side? Yep, that makes the look less harsh and more face-flattering.

The way the look is perfectly messy — not a hair out of place! — is also super sexy. All women want to look like they have that sultry imperfect look, after all. Plus, the look is a nice change from Dobrev’s typical straight hair!
